I am a pragmatic and forward-thinking operational CFO with experience profitably scaling organizations across a range of industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, logistics, professional services, and financial services.

I have played a central role in positioning several companies for successful sale while ensuring business integration and accretion of various growth-oriented acquisitions. I am skilled in advancing free cash flow, operating liquidity, and profitability, with a keen focus on tactical execution of operation, accounting, and finance mission-based deliverables.

Noteworthy accomplishments in my career include:

Successfully selling a passenger and cargo airline and logistics entity to a private equity sponsor and assisting with pre-sale buyer due diligence, post-acquisition system and reporting integration, and cultural transformation
Launching a $100M greenfield automotive assembly facility implementing all accounting, finance, tax, compliance, ERP, KPI reporting, and project management initiatives within budget
Profitably scaling revenues by three times to over $1B, building the nation’s largest minority-owned professional human resource services business
Acting as CFO of the first independent electricity transmission start-up energy company in the U.S. leading to an initial public offering
Founding a captive financial services organization and later managing its sale to a leading nationally applauded lending institution
Implementing a multi-million dollar general ledger accounting and reporting platform for the world’s largest automotive manufacturer
Directing corporate revitalization, including financial, operational, and liquidity assessments for a number of financially distressed entities leading to successful investor outcomes

I have professional experience spanning 33 years in a variety of roles including CFO, president, board member, and advisory council member. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and an MBA from the Mike Illitch School of Business at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
