High Growth Company Lacks Capital and Expertise Needed to Execute Exit Strategy

A client experiencing dramatic growth (doubling every year) was seeking to exit in three years and did not have the capital to continue the ramped-up growth, nor the financial expertise to guide them through an exit.

One of our partners was brought on board to develop strategy and execute tactics to provide the necessary capital for the continued growth and lead them through the exit process.

Contracts were financed, which provided capital needed to continue to fuel growth, KPIs were developed to focus the business on critical metrics for success, new products were offered (which increased the margins) and a financial model was developed to monitor and guide the company through the exit process.

After working with an investment banker, the company was sold to a private equity group six months ahead of targeted 3-year timeline at a double-digit EBITDA multiple.
