During my time as CFO, I served as financial executive and board member for small to mid-sized companies. I understand how a business is built from the ground up having served as owner and co-founder of two small businesses. I partnered with sales, procurement, human resources, and operations leaders throughout my career and I now bring this expertise to my clients.

Some examples of significant initiatives that I have led, and
their benefits to my clients and employers, include:
  • Assisted family business with two-year back certified audits with Deloitte with a successful exit at a purchase price of $24.4 million.
  • Secured a credit facility of $23.5 million including a $12 million revolver, $6.5 million term-note and $5 million of subordinated debt.
  • Assisted Private Equity Group in sale at a purchase price of $31.4 million, while securing a $24 million credit facility, including $17.6 million revolver and $6.4 million term note.
  • Co-founded a Medical Diagnostic company with a successful exit to a public company.
  • Co-founded a Pharmaceutical Research company with a successful exit to private equity.
  • Assisted a Private Equity with a turnaround in 2008/2009 with a successful exit.
  • Assisted in growing aluminum distributor from 28 to 55 locations in a 5-year period. Assisted in all levels of due diligence and system integration.
  • Acquiring a $3 million company.
  • Acquiring a $7 million company and successfully integrating ERP system within one hundred eighty days.
  • Acquiring a $6 million company and successfully integrating ERP system within ninety days.

I have over 35 years of top-level management experience, serving as a financial executive and board member for multiple companies. I have also been an entrepreneur and co-founder of two small businesses, so I understand the opportunities and challenges of building a business from the ground up. I have a CPA license (inactive) and a strong background in strategic planning, acquisitions, budgeting, and due diligence. I have successfully facilitated several mergers and divestitures, including the recent combination of Nestor and Medco, two sister portfolio companies with $300 million in combined annual revenue.

I have also led the finance project for the upgrade to Infor Cloud Suite Distribution ERP system, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the financial operations. I have a proven track record of delivering results and earning trust with various stakeholders, including venture capital groups, public companies, and top accounting firms.

Previously, I held executive financial positions at mid- to large-sized companies including:

  • CFO, Secretary and Treasurer – Nestor Sales LLC – $80 million in revenue.
  • Director of Finance – Medco Tools – $300 million in revenue.
  • Co-founder and CFO – Florida Pharmaceutical Research Corp. – $2 million in revenue.
  • Co-founder and CFO – Mobilsonix, Inc. – $1.2 million in revenue.
  • Controller – Ashely Aluminum, Inc. – $100 million in revenue.
