Jim is a highly-talented professional who is a strong leader and manager. His strengths transcend several different functional areas. As one might expect from a CFO, his analytical abilities are exceptional but what really sets Jim apart are his critical thinking skills and his communication skills. In addition to leading the accounting, IT and investor relation functions, Jim played a crucial role in the company’s strategy and planning, and in communicating the company’s historical results and future plans to myriad audiences. The workload and responsibility Jim took on himself daily earned the respect of everyone who worked for him. Yet Jim knew how to empower and motivate his direct reports to take on responsibility for their own departments.
