When I was asked to launch the Florida CFO Group brand in Orlando about two years ago, I was honored. My mind immediately went to work on strategies to raise brand awareness for our partnership in the Orlando market.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
As I sat in meetings with the experienced, high-quality CFOs who were my new partners in Tampa, I remember thinking, \u201cIf I could only figure out how to get Orlando entrepreneurs to see snippets of their business wisdom and knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Then, I had an idea: FESN!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Yes, this sounds like ESPN \u2013 intentionally, because I\u2019m a long-time sports fan and cable TV veteran. The idea of an \u201cESPN for entrepreneurs\u201d that shares \u201cjust the highlights\u201d of business wisdom and knowledge made sense to me. Entrepreneurs are the busiest people in the world, so let\u2019s give them meaningful content efficiently delivered. The concept was to ask experts and entrepreneurs to condense their many years of expertise into meaningful, one-minute videos (aptly named \u201cMeaningful Minute\u201d).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Otherwise known as the Florida Entrepreneur Success Network, FESN was launched on February 26, 2020, at the Florida CFO Group\u2019s Orlando launch event at the Citrus Club \u2013 right before the COVID-19 shutdown. At first, we shot videos at beautiful and iconic locations, but adopted the \u201cwork from home\u201d approach for making videos during the lockdown.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Fast forward 18 months to today, we\u2019ve had 70 different experts and entrepreneurs create over 270 \u201cMeaningful Minute\u201d videos on a wide variety of subjects, including strategy, finance, sales, marketing, human resources, technology, cybersecurity, law and leadership.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
And we\u2019re just getting started. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
