I have over 20 years of financial leadership experience with privately-held, emerging, and high-growth companies. I have worked across a range of industries, including IT, professional services, retail, logistics, healthcare, franchise and international business, leading or personally delivering the following:

  • Design and implementation of a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform enabling an EBITDA increase of 21% for a multi-unit retail franchisee with $50 million in annual revenue
  • Establishment of essential infrastructure and procedures for a data analytics firm, including: IT systems, order-to-shipment procedures, financial reporting, human resource management, accounting and auditing, enabling 100% year-over-year, revenue growth
  • Founding and operation of a consultancy delivering CFO, finance, accounting, human resources, IT, and supply chain solutions
  • Securing of $2 million debt and equity funding required for corporate expansion for a virtualization business consultancy; negotiated its sale to VMware, Inc.
  • Improvement of cash positions by negotiating international purchase agreements; identifying and resolving negative cash flows; leading efforts to acquire working capital, meeting with banks, venture capitalists and lending firms
  • Development and implementation of a dynamic pricing system for an internet retailer, increasing gross profit by 400%
  • Securing $5 million debt funding required for retail franchisee expansion; resulting in 71% location growth, 87% revenue growth, and 128% EBITDA growth

In addition to my passion for helping clients identify and implement solutions to their unique financial and growth challenges, I am a veterans advocate, lecturer and author. I welcome the challenge of planning, monitoring, and analyzing financial performance and particularly enjoy delivering outside-the-box, innovative solutions to principals; as well as training and leading teams of professionals and support staff.

I joined the Florida CFO Group in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in management and financial leadership as a CFO, general manager, strategic consultant, and finance manager. I’m a United States Air Force veteran and I earned my Master of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance & International Business, from Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business.
