I have over 25 years of financial leadership experience with Fortune 500 public and privately held companies, as well as entrepreneurial experience founding, managing and selling companies. I have worked across a range of industries, including appliance manufacturing, electric motors and controls manufacturing, supply chain platforms, and building materials. I have led or personally delivered the following:

  • Founding a high-end manufacturer of medium densify fiber board doors and hardwood molding which resulted in the successful sale of the company for 6X EBITDA
  • Establishing infrastructure and processes including: IT systems, order to shipment procedures, financial reporting, human resource management, purchasing, and cost accounting
  • Relationship management with private equity firms, including monthly reporting and board meeting material preparation
  • Developed and implemented cost reduction plans resulting in over $80 million in savings
  • Refinanced $3.4 million of bank debt during the "great recession" which resulted in a monthly cash flow improvement of $20K
  • Developed cash flow improvements resulting in $37 million in improved cash performance
  • Inventory management improvements resulting in $25 million in inventory reductions
  • International financial operations across locations in the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, India, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as a three-year assignment in Brussels, Belgium
  • Acquisitions and joint ventures in France, Spain, and Saudi Arabia, including: financial evaluations, price negotiations, due diligence, and acquisition target integrations

My financial and operational experience is broad, and I particularly enjoy working with emerging and family-held companies to reach the next level in their growth. I welcome the challenge of ramping up quickly, establishing priorities and implementing financial processes and the metrics to demonstrate ROI in the near-term.

I joined the Florida CFO Group in 2018 with over 25 years of experience in management and financial leadership as a CFO, founder/president, strategic consultant, analyst, and auditor. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida, as well as completing extensive training in GE's two-year financial training program.
