I am financially trained (with a Big Four background) and strategically insightful and am a CPA. Recognized as a valued member of executive teams in large-cap growth companies and small-cap turnarounds and a key decision maker in the development and execution of strategic plans. My broad and varied experience extends to international operations on four continents. I have extensive expertise in developing collaborative teams enabling adoption of continuous improvement methodologies. I have been a key player in, or personally delivered, the following:

  • Developed a four-part financial restructuring plan, including securing $5,000,000 of global ABL financing, to stabilize the global operations of a consumer products company
  • Designed interactive financial models for clients enabling management to focus on optimizing performance by identifying higher-value strategies
  • Designed and implemented a tiered pricing model based on volume of business for the nation’s largest credit union service organization, reflecting profitability differences in over 500 relationships, as well as profitability modeling of all product lines enabling increased management focus on profitability
  • Directed global reorganization resulting in 20 percent operating expense savings, while targeting break-even operations for corporate functions and profitability for operating units, for a global consumer products company

I founded the Florida CFO Group with two other partners in 2010. I have over thirty years of experience utilizing my experience in accounting and finance in an executive leadership capacity. In addition to holding executive leadership roles within organizations, I currently serve on the Board of Directors of Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. (BDL) as one of three independent directors including service on the audit and nominating committees and serve on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay, a local not-for-profit organization. I was a Tampa Bay Business Journal 2014 CFO of the Year Finalist.
